INTRODUCING THE SUNDAY PUPPET CLUB

Are you a kid that loves puppets and wants to learn more? The Sunday Puppet Club is a puppetmaking and performance opportunity for kids in grades 4-8. On Sunday afternoons, puppetmaker Cheryl Capezzuti opens up her puppet studio to young puppetmakers to come together, learn new puppetmaking techniques and connect with like-minded makers. From felted finger puppets to giant parade puppets, this is an opportunity for puppet loving kids to gain skills, make puppets and perform with new friends.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

Each month there will be two or three making workshops on Sundays and one performance day. On the making days, students will explore a variety of puppetry topics and complete puppets of their own design. Periodically, in place of the making workshops, I’ll turn my studio into a theater and host a performance day where students can bring puppets that they made and work with like-minded puppeteers to produce short shows for family and friends. All workshops run from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday afternoons.

HERE'S THE LINE-UP:

Private puppetry lessons also available.
